Becky's Corner

I am a paralegal by profession, own a daycare and I am involved in many community activities. I have worn many hats in my lifetime but the most rewarding so far has been wife to Kevin and mother of our two daughters, Whitney and Chelsey. Our daughters have always been involved in some type of project whether it be piano, vocal, livestock, and they have been involved in many organizations, as well. They have both grown to be two pretty fantastic individuals that we are certainly very proud of. We are proud to add Kyle Carman to our family. Kyle and our oldest daughter Whitney were married in October of 2009 at a beautiful ceremony on my parent's farm. September 20, 2011 we welcomed our latest addition to our family. Jackson Charles Carman was born weighing 9lb. 7 1/2 oz. 21 inches long. He is a big boy and Kevin and I are both proud, proud grandparents. Of course Kevin already has a bow made for him. Let the spoiling begin.

I enjoy 3D target shooting and hunting with Kevin. I also enjoy taking my niece and nephews shooting 3D and hunting. When we don't have a shoot they can go to, we go out to the back yard and shoot at the targets we have set up for them. I am also a NASP Coach for the local Elementary School. I believe that in order to make a young person worth something, you have to invest a little time in them.

My primary role in Herwaybow, LLC is business support but I am also very active in the process of making the bows. Although Kevin does all of the craftsman work, I get to help with selection of wood combination and finishes. I have recently had a hand in some of the design process of our new line. It is just amazing to see the progression of each bow from start to finish and to witness the beauty that is waiting in each one come through.
